On October 10-12, the 7th global and 3rd US edition of Music Cities Convention was held in Lafayette, Louisiana and hosted alongside CREATE Lafayette, Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission an Lafayette Consolidated Government.
260 delegates gathered in the “Happiest City in America” to have a conversation on how music can promote diversity and build stronger and healthier communities: to do so, representatives from as far as Chile, Australia, Spain and Palestine, as well as cities spanning the USA, shared their stories and points of view in two full days of panels, presentations and roundtables.
