Released in volumes, each release is a curated collection of one-day music itineraries, each crafted by a local Sonic Gem Seeker who knows their city's music scene inside out. Think less tourist guide, more music-obsessed friend showing you around their hometown.

In 2026, Music Tourism can no longer be considered a niche—it's a global movement reshaping how destinations attract visitors, generate revenue, and build cultural identity.
However, Music Tourism is much more than people travelling to other cities to enjoy the concerts of their favourite artists. Music tourism is about understanding a city's DNA through its music scenes and connecting with the people who are part of them.

ELIGIBILITY
We welcome participation from anyone, whether you are a local music fan, musician, venue owner, music journalist, cultural worker, or someone who supports and celebrates music in your community.
Applicants must have knowledge of their local music scene, including venues, artists and the cultural context
Submissions are welcome from individuals, collectives, and organisations worldwide
