Mississippi Music Tourism Convention Postponed to 2021 due to Covid-19

After the first-ever US edition was held in Franklin, TN in 2017, 2020 would have been the year Music Tourism Convention came back to the USA for a special edition in Cleveland, MS.

With 2 convention days, 3 evening receptions, 1 full music tourism day and 300+ delegates from all over the world, we could not wait for what was set to be the biggest edition of the event to date.

Nevertheless, due to the Covid-19 sanitary emergency and after much consideration we’ve decided, alongside our fellow event hosts the City of Cleveland and Visit Mississippi, to postpone the event to Sept 29 - Oct 2 2021.

Although this means we’ll have to wait a little longer before exploring the incredible Mississippi Delta, this will ensure we can organise the best event possible and we’re already working closely with our event partners to guarantee that 2021 will be an even bigger and more international event than originally planned.

All purchased tickets remain valid for the new event dates and ticket holders who can't make the new dates will have the option to transfer the value of the ticket bought towards a subscription to the Music Cities Community, or request a full refund, while tickets for the new dates are already available on our Eventbrite page for those who still don’t have theirs.

We can’t wait to meet you all in Cleveland, MS on Sept 29 - Oct 2 2021. In the meantime, we at Music Cities Events will polish our dancing shoes and enjoy some of the greatest Mississippi hits. We suggest you do the same.

If you have any questions about the event, feel free to get in touch with Alice at alice@sounddiplomacy.com.
