Music Advocates from all over the world are coming together for the Fayetteville AR Music Cities Convention

Over the past few years, Arts Council Malta has made significant strides in supporting the country’s creative economy—with the development of a strong and sustainable music ecosystem as one of its core pillars.

Key initiatives in this effort include Music For Everyone, a project introducing the Kodály approach to music education in Malta; the establishment of a dedicated fund for the purchase of musical instruments by local organizations; and the collaboration with Sound Diplomacy to create Malta’s first Music and Night-Time Strategy.

As part of this ongoing music advocacy journey, Arts Council Malta is organizing a delegation of local music leaders to participate in the 10th anniversary of the Music Cities Convention.

This presence will allow Malta to both spotlight its progress and challenges, and equip its delegates—some of the country’s most active music stakeholders—with global insights, practical knowledge, and valuable connections to strengthen Malta’s music ecosystem in the years ahead.
