Hull is once again opening its doors to the world of music to showcase its evolution, from a thriving grassroots community to a globally recognized music city. From being named UK City of Culture in 2017, through to its five-year plan to secure UNESCO City of Music status by 2030, Hull places music at the heart of cultural, social, and economic transformation.


The city has given the world artists such as The Housemartins, Throbbing Gristle, Everything but the Girl, and more recently Chiedu Oraka. But Hull is not resting on its legacy, it is building a future where music drives identity, tourism, and opportunities for new generations.
