On July 4th, our colleague Pablo Borchi attended the Winter of Liangshan International Music Festival Press Conference in Xichang, China. The event marked the official launch of the Xichang Music Tourism Convention 2025, a step in Liangshan Prefecture's ambitious strategy to elevate its cultural tourism to new heights.
Initiated by Xichu Technology (Chengdu) Group Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Yincheng Cultural Development Co., Ltd., and guided by the Sichuan Musicians Association, the festival is co-sponsored by prestigious international institutions such as INTERKULTUR International Cultural Exchange Foundation (Germany) and the Pacific Asia Travel Federation (APTO).
The Xichang Music Tourism Convention 2025 will feature a diverse range of speakers and panelists who will share their expertise on topics such as music tourism strategies, destination marketing, and the role of music in preserving local traditions. The event will also include interactive workshops, cultural immersion experiences, and roundtable discussions, ensuring that attendees have ample opportunities to engage with one another and build meaningful connections.
