Music Cities Convention,
Tulsa 2022
Held on November 2-5 across several iconic music places across Tulsa, the event included 80+ speakers and 450+ registered delegates that attended from 90 cities in 13 countries and 4 continents. The Tulsa Music Cities Convention was also the host of the first-ever in person ceremony of the Music Cities Awards, a global competition designed to acknowledge and reward the most outstanding applications of music for economic, social, environmental and cultural development in cities and places all around the world.

Lafayette 2018
In October 2018 the 7th global of MCC was held in Lafayette, Louisiana and hosted alongside CREATE Lafayette, Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission and Lafayette Consolidated Government. 260 delegates gathered in the “Happiest City in America” to have a conversation on how music can promote diversity and build stronger and healthier communities: to do so, representatives from as far as Chile, Australia, Spain and Palestine, as well as cities spanning the USA shared their stories and ideas in two full days of talks.

Melbourne 2018
In April 2018, MCC was held in Melbourne Australia alongside Creative Victoria and Music Victoria. The event was the first to be held in the Southern Hemisphere and brought together 300 global leaders from the government to academia and the music industry to showcase best practices on the use of music - and all its variants - to improve city life.
There were 40+ speakers from Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa, North America and South America all bringing their unique perspectives to the theme 'It takes a village to make a music city'.
