All you need to know for the upcoming Cleveland MS Music Tourism Convention

 

When and where will the Cleveland MS Music Tourism Convention take place?


The event will be held from 28 September until 1 October 2021 in Cleveland, MS. The main event venue will be the Lyric Hotel (1300 Highway 8 West, Cleveland, MS, 38732, US), with other extra events taking place at the GRAMMY Museum Mississippi and at Dockery Farms.




I will drive to the event. Is there parking available onsite?


Yes. We'll be offering free parking for delegates at the Lyric Hotel.




Will the event be held in person?


Yes. We’re working hard to ensure our guests can travel to the Delta and have the most amazing experience at our event, whilst keeping themselves and others safe. We’ll be releasing a set of regulations and guidelines for all attendees to follow at the main convention, as well as at our extra events and tours - which will be adapted to follow all safety protocols.




What happens if I can't travel or attend the event?


We live in uncertain times and are aware that making travel plans is harder than it used to be. That's why we want to make it as simple as possible for you to organise your trip to Cleveland MS Music Tourism Convention. Tickets: If you bought a ticket, but can't attend the event for whichever reason (e.g. new travel restrictions) our worry-free cancellation policy allows you to cancel up to 7 days before the event and get a full refund. Hotels: All our partner hotels offer flexible cancellation policies. Head to our hotel page (coming soon) to learn all about the hotels and their cancellation policies. Flights: Most airlines flying into Jackson Airport (JAN) an Memphis Airport (MEM) updated their policies in response to the difficulties brought by Covid-19. In most cases, you should be able to have your ticket fully refunded if the flight is cancelled by the airline, and receive a voucher to travel at a later date if you have to cancel your booking. Please read your ticket and airline cancellation policy carefully before booking your flight.




I'm interested in joining the tour on 1 October. How can I reserve my spot?


Just reply "Yes" to the pertinent question in the ticket form and we'll add you to the tour waiting list. The tour has limited capacity, with priority given to internationals and those travelling from outside Mississippi. We'll inform you about seat availability and confirm your participation in August.




Is there an official event group?


Yes! Get your event ticket and then request access to the official event group, hosted on our Music Cities Community, by clicking here. It is free to enter, and all ticket holders will be able to network, share ideas ahead of the event and engage with the wider, global Music Cities Community.
