Music Tourism Convention
Cape Breton Island, Canada
October 5 - 7 2022
Voted as the #1 Island in North America by Condé Nast Traveler in 2019, Cape Breton Island not only offers stunning landscapes and adventurous trails, but also a thriving and unique music scene.
With music as a driver for 45% of travellers visiting the island, an international festival at its 25th edition and an incredible wealth of talent, Cape Breton Island is an established music tourism destination.
For the occasion of the Cape Breton "Year of Music", Music Tourism Convention will be travelling to the island in 2022 for the event's very first Canadian edition.
On top of two full days of insightful conference sessions, we'll also be organising an optional, three-day pre-Convention tour for everyone interested in experiencing and enjoying the Island's music tourism offers and heritage, and we'll be heading to the unique Celtic Colours International Festival for its opening night on October 7th.
